The multiple Olympic gold medalist-turned-engineer shows us all the bells and whistles in her adaptive dream build.

Lisa Franks lost the use of her legs at the age of 14, but the paralympic athlete insisted on charging ahead with gusto. Within a decade, Franks’ grit and adamance had turned her into a three-time paralympian, winner of six gold paralympic medals, and STEM degree holder.

These days, the self-proclaimed nerd lives nomad-style so she can surf and mountain bike all year round.
