Have a Fun Weekend. | Cup of Jo

What are you up to this weekend? The weather is GORGEOUS in NYC, so are going to spend as much time outside as possible. Maybe we’ll hit up an ice cream truck? Also, for all the readers who’ve asked, our annual babaà discount post is happening this Monday! Have a good one, and here are a few fun links from around the web…

Today’s issue of Big Salad is the Therapy Issue! I did an eight-minute podcast with my psychologist friend Lina about therapist etiquette, including whether therapists have favorite patients (and is it us?!). Plus, we interview a therapist-comedian (she’s hilarious), readers reveal the most helpful things therapists ever told them, and we found a very cool T-shirt. Read everything here, if you’d like (paywalled).

Spaghetti pie.

Loving these pants for walks/movie night/travel.

How are strangers part of your life? Loved this.

Have you read the amazing comment section on Free People’s very short shorts? “To the model, are you okay? Kegel twice for help. We will def see it.”

Every time I see a celebrity, haha.

How pretty are these small bathrooms?

NYC subway bingo.

The coolest item on the menu is…cabbage? (NYTimes gift link)

I’ve been trying to wash my hair less frequently, and this is my workhorse product.

A beautiful portrait of sisters. Their hands!

Hahahaha, always.

Plus, two reader comments:

Says Shannon on first date questions: “One of my closest friends is SO GOOD at skipping small talk. She will meet someone and moments later be neck-deep in a beautiful conversation about their childhood. She said her recent go-to question is: do you have a trip coming up?”

Says Julie on first date questions: It’s hard to think of these questions as a married person. All I can think of is, ‘Do you snore?’ or ‘Where do you put your clothes at the end of the day?’”
